About Me

Posted on 19 July 2009 by Suburban Wife

meHello! My name is Kelly and I’ll be keeping you glued to your computer. Or at least I hope my recipes and projects will, even if only for a little while.

I’m a mother of 4, wife twice over and pet owner extraordinaire during the daytime but when the lights go out – and baby I love it when that happens! – I don my Super-Crafter cape and transform boring old crap into cool new purses or decorations.

As a member of the Super-Crafter community it is my duty to share with you, dear reader, crazy new concepts that pop into my brain along with printable instructions and (sometimes fuzzy) illustration photos.

Suburban Wife Life is a conglomeration of coexistence between my daytime duties and night time adventures. It houses everything from recipes (I’m living Gluten Free and sharing the lessons I’m learning along the way) to free printable project instructions.

It might seem as if this blog materialized out the clear blue but it has come about as the direct result of my freelance experience writing for Associated Content.  I discovered I like writing craft articles and how-tos.

20 years of parenting, cooking, cleaning, sewing, gluing, stapling, hammering, dressing, accessorizing, listening, complaining, succeeding and failing all in one easy to find place; My Place, This Place – Suburban Wife Life.

All things said and considered – me, not you – pour yourself a mug of Jo, Iced Tea or a beer, join in the craziness and let me know what you think from time to time.

Kelly aka Suburban Wife.

I really enjoyed your article because i just got a business card on my door from the Child Protective Services. Even though its old, it is comforting that maybe, just maybe laws like the Governor of California may become more accepted across other states. I am currently in Texas.

My wife passed away and its highly possible her family is behind this. It has been mentioned which of her family has caused this, but i have yet to question them.

Anyway, we have 8 children and from day one of her death, 3 months ago, it has been brutual tug a war over my wife and i children.

Your article has given me direction in how to persue the matter as my investigation will probably start today sometime.

I guess, i have alot of research to do.

I would appreciate hearing from you.

I would love to know how you are able to write so many articles. I saw how many you posted just today. I am impressed!! Do you do that daily or just gather them up after writing for a day or two and then post them at the same time? I’m also on AC, but it’s been a while since I posted anything. Well, I did post a book review last month, but that was the first in months. I would love some tips on how to get multiple articles written even as I’m working on my blog and other projects. Thanks and keep going!

Hi Wendy! Sometimes I write several articles at one time and then schedule them to post at different times. Sometimes I actually write them that day and post them that day. Sometimes I go quite a while in between posts. How often I post really depends on my schedule.

Honestly I’m the worse one to ask about writing multiple articles, lol cause I’m terrible at it. All I can say is write until your eyeballs pop out and then write with them closed. lol Best of luck to you. I’ll be looking for you at AC. I’ll also be looking for your blog posts.
